Administrator Pages

Just like the student experience, StudioAbroad's administration tools are delivered through a web-browser interface.  They can be accessed by any popular browser with an Internet connection providing the staff with far-reaching access to the information and tools that they need to promote the office programs.  Even complex jobs like web-page creation and report building are just as easy to accomplish from a remote location as they are from your office terminal.

Staff members are given access to the management tools through a permissions matrix that can be changed easily by your office's website administrator.  All the tools are broken down into task-specific categories so that each member of your staff will only see the options specific to what they need to manage:

  • Web Site Administration

These tools will allow a staff member to build and create your public web site, including staff pages and public announcements.  All the content created is done through StudioAbroad's WYSIWYG editor (What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get).  This powerful tool operates from within the author's web-browser so no third party tools are required to generate rich, formatted web pages with images, tables, URL links, download-able files, and pop-up windows.

WYSIWYG

If a user knows how to use Microsoft Word™, the WYSIWYG editor is a snap to learn.  The editor not only allows the use of images and formatted text, but it integrates with the StudioAbroad document center which allows the use of PDF and Microsoft Office™ documents to be linked into the pages seamlessly for providing students with information in multiple formats.

  • Program Center

Administrators that need to build and maintain program information have access to an intuitive and user-friendly interface that makes adding programs and modifying existing programs simple and painless.  The Program Builder separates the attributes of the programs through a tabbed browsing system.

Brochures, parameters, application deadlines, and budget sheets are all organized in a manageable system that helps you keep your data consistent and current.

  • Student Administration

Staff members who need to process student applications are given powerful search tools combined with an intuitive tabbed application viewer that makes application management fast and efficient.  Submission tracking, decision posting, and report generation is quickly accomplished through the staff member's web-browser.  Email, street addresses, and recommendations for students are all maintained and accessible to the administrators.

Comments, submissions, and a detailed history of each application are kept complete with timestamps so that an administrator can track the progress of an application from creation to completion.  Application data also extends beyond the application process by charting submissions and comments during and after participation in the program.

  • Materials Center

Staff members with access to the material administration tools will be able to quickly produce questionnaires, material submissions, and signature documents.  They will also be able to author decision letters and send off reminder emails for students that have not completed all the submissions for an application.

With proper verification, signature documents can be handled online with a digital signature that will speed up your application process by allowing content and intent forms to be handled without the need for multiple mailings to and from the study abroad office.
