Recommendations

StudioAbroad has a powerful recommendation handler that allows your students to search the local network for faculty email addresses and send out a link to an online recommendation form.  The recommenders can complete and submit the recommendation online through their web-browser.  In minutes, without any paperwork being printed or mailed, a student can receive a recommendation for a program from their school's faculty members.  The submitted recommendation is automatically recorded in your database for review and marked on the student's application as received.

Recommendation forms are created by your staff and can be program-specific or general forms for all programs.  The recommendation form can also be printed out complete with all instructions for completion and mailing automatically included on the printout.  Recommendations can sometimes be the toughest materials to gather for an application, but StudioAbroad provides the tools to make it easy for both the student to obtain them and the staff to process them.  Just like all other submissions the student must complete, the tally of recommendations is always visible to the student and staff so that progress towards the finished application can be determined by a glance at a web page available from any internet-enabled computer.
